Bolin’s resident Swiss Army knife and former Guinness World Record holder, Sam carries a particular set of skills acquired over an interesting career pinballing across the United States. A product of the medical field, and University of Iowa, Sam brings a methodical approach to project management. He thrives in organized chaos, having spent several years at Northwestern in Chicago handling projects for the healthcare system—from small corporate communications to large audits from scary three-letter government agencies.
Prior to his stint in Chicago, Sam bounced around the US during a five-year Marine Corps career, with roles ranging from Radio Operator to Communications Chief and Marksmanship Instructor. These hours may not have counted towards his project management certifications, but they certainly ingrained some adaptability and a keen ability to make antennas out of wire, plastic spoons, and electrical tape. When he’s not trekking across the US in an effort to visit every national park, Sam looks for any excuse to grow his sneaker collection, and is always ready for a game of pick-up basketball at any given time.
