Honeywell has had a lock on the home thermostat market for 100 years. The Fortune 100 company was interested in finding innovative ways to secure its dominant leadership position. Honeywell engaged Bolin to develop a new web presence to cement its place at the top of a quickly expanding market.
Bolin’s plan included creating a fully responsive website and mobile microsite for Honeywell’s home thermostat products. The sites feature a modern, high-end aesthetic, with video content that provides a rich overview of the thermostat’s features, including detailed installation videos as well as a marketing video that tells the benefit story of the Wi-Fi thermostat.
Additionally, we created unique mobile content and designed and implemented a blogger outreach program, targeting several niche blog segments that were strategically selected based on the thermostat’s unique features.
